Parent's Corner
Math-a-mania is a game that started out as an assignment for a class project when my daughter was in the 8th grade. At that time she was only 13. We just wanted to do some thing so that my daughter could get a decent grade. After she turned in the assignment her science teacher was so impressed that she showed it to several math teachers to get their take on it. They, in turn, tested the game on their students which were 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Their students loved it. They thought it was an awesome game.
We soon started getting e-mails and phone calls about the game and how they could get a copy of their own. So we looked into manufacturing the game and put it on the market October of 2002. This game is designed to not only make learning math easy, but fun too! We later found out that because of the different levels of play, adults enjoy playing math-a-mania just as much as children. It's like a refresher course in math for adults. I can't tell you how many times people tell us that they wish they had a game like this when they were learning math. This game helps children master basic addition, subtraction and multiplication. Once you've mastered multiplication you can even incorporate division. This game really works!! |
